PLGRMS – Crawling Back

#NewMusic from Sydney, Australia

Aussie duo PLGRMS are back with a new single ‘Crawling Back’. A driving pop ditty with subtle oriental influences and glorious, full synth swells that take you into the singalong chorus. A bit more conventional than their equally great track Dream You Up‘ which we featured a few months back. Keep it up lads.

PLGRMS ‘Crawling Back’ is out now.

Haiku Hands – Not About You

#NewMusic from Sydney x Melbourne, Australia

The debut single from Aussie rave-popsters Haiku Hands ‘Not About You’ is exactly how they describe it; “four to the floor, pop till you drop”. Oh, and for the record we are 100% on board with their pronunciation of the word “arse” in this song. Such good fun this one.

Haiku Hands ‘Not About You’ is out now.

Shouts to Drums Eat Everything for the nod on this one.

Miami Horror – The Shapes [EP]

#NewMusic from Melbourne, Australia

Colourful Australian group Miami Horror have released an upbeat EP that has all the hallmarks of an 80s funk / disco classic, but we’re in 2017! ‘The Shapes’ brings in the season of spring rather nicely.

If you want to brush up on your language skills, why not check out one of the tracks ‘Leila’ in Spanish.

Pick up your copy from their bandcamp page.

Middle Kids – Edge of Town

#NewMusic from Sydney, Australia

A video for the track ‘Edge of Town’ from Australian pop rock trio; Middle Kids. The sound of the strained but subtly sweet lyrical delivery contrast beautifully with the resonant guitars and drums. Top work team.

They’re rampantly touring the US at the moment before heading back to Oz for a few shows. Hopefully we’ll see them at some festivals in Europe this summer. We’ll be the first to let you know if they do.
