5 Must See Acts – Camden Rocks (2017)

The promoters let you know what to expect with this one “The Rock & Roll street party of the year. 250 Bands, 25 Venues, One Day, One Ticket”. Once again, we’ve looked below the headliners to dig through the remaining 230+ bands are worth a look. Her are our “5 Must See Acts” for Camden Rocks 2017.

Grounds (@GROUNDSBand)

There’s nothing stuttering about the output of this monstrous sounding London three piece. They are absolutely owning their sound and style.

Where: The Good Mixer, 30 Inverness Street, NW1 7HJ
Showtime: Saturday 3 June @ 14:00

Weirds (@weirdsband)

Is it all out rock, is it prog rock? Heck we don’t know but what we do know is that Weirds kick some serious scuzz filled guitar ass! We do like the more laid back organ vibes in the verse of their recent cut ‘Phantom’.

Where: Dublin Castle, 94 Parkway, NW1 7AN
Showtime: Saturday 3 June @ 15:00

Reigning Days (@Reigningdays)

Such a complete sound for so few people in a band. Between the three of them Reigning Days pack a serious punch with their chunky bass, thunderous drums and guitar lickage.

Where: Devonshire Arms, 33 Kentish Town Rd, NW1 8NL
Showtime: Saturday 3 June @ 20:00

BlackWaters (@BlackWaters_UK)

Rapid fire modern punk with vocals that cut through the clatter with clarity.

Where: Belushi’s, 48-50 Camden High Street, NW1 0LT
Showtime: Saturday 3 June @ 21:00

Broken Witt Rebels (@Brokenwittrebel)

Representing the blues sound with aplomb, Broken Witt Rebels combine whisky soaked vocals with guillotine sharp drums and a chorus of guitar hooks.

Where: Lyttelton Arms, 1 Camden High Street, NW1 7JE
Showtime: Saturday 3 June @ 21:00

A good spread of rock (and blues) styles to choose from. You won’t be disappointed with any of these lot. Now, get out and enjoy some kick ass live music.
